New Seasonal Cocktails at High Steaks!

The Big Apple
Just in time for the Holidays... High Steaks is excited to present our new Specialty Drink list featuring classic libations, modern cocktails, and seasonal flavors.

The Big Apple features W.L. Weller Special Reserve Bourbon and Applejack with apple liqueur, cranberry juice, and fall mulling spices like cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, and clove.  It is finished with a cinnamon stick and crisp caramel apple slice.  It's everything you love about holiday apple cider, with a kick!

California Chrome

 The California Chrome, a local and seasonal take on the classic Moscow Mule, pays homage the region's most famous thoroughbred.  This cocktail is packed with fall flavor thanks to a house-made spiced cider syrup, with Russian Standard Vodka, fresh lime juice, fresh from the garden mint, and Fever Tree ginger beer.  Of course, it is served in a copper mug (not chrome), the only proper way to serve a mule.

Diamonds and Pears

The Diamonds and Pears, is a High Steaks Fall favorite.  Intoxicating pear and cinnamon flavors are the driving force in this pearl-colored drink, featuring Grey Goose La Poire Vodka, Germain Robin pear liqueur, fresh lemon juice, and house-infused cinnamon syrup.

Preservation Society

Our fourth seasonal selection presents flavors that are not usually associated with fall and winter.  Our mixologists wanted to present something seasonally appropriate, but a departure from the usual apple, pear, and warm spice suspects. In order to achieve this, we took the last of the ripe summer strawberries and made preserves, to give the drink a jammy and delicious taste.  The strawberries are mixed with Knob Creek 9 Year Bourbon, fresh lemon juice, simple syrup and orange syrup.  Appropriately named the "Preservation Society", it is served over ice with a splash of soda water to make it long and refreshing!
