Blood Oranges and Tangelos prior to be segmented into "supremes" for our Market Salad

Here is the Farmer's Market Salad for today: Winter Mix of Kale, Red Romaine and Mustard Greens, tossed in a Bariani Honey Blood Orange Vinaigrette with Tangelos and Blood Orange Supremes, Maytag Bleu Cheese, Honey Orange Roasted Almonds and Apples!

Freshly Washed Market Greens, Prime Rib and Pomegranate Seeds. The trick to getting the seeds out of these beauties: Cut the Pomegranate in half and turn it over a bowl, then beat the back of it with a wooden spoon. They fall out like rain. Much easier than the water technique... i just wish I hadn't found out after de-seeding an entire case underwater. Thanks Martin - He is one of our best cooks and always knows the secrets!
